Most Häfele microwave ovens come equipped with various Auto Menu programs. These presets are tailored with optimal power levels and cooking times to match specific food types, helping users cook more efficiently.

1. Common Auto Menu Programs:

Auto Reheat: Quickly reheats rice, soup, and leftovers.

Popcorn: Pops corn kernels in just 2–3 minutes.

Pizza: Reheats and crisps the pizza surface.

2. How to Use Auto Menu:

Place the food inside the microwave.

Select the matching Auto Menu program on the control panel.

Input the food’s weight if prompted.

Press Start – the microwave will automatically adjust power and time.

Midway through, check if the food needs to be stirred or turned for even cooking.

MICROWAVE-SAFE MATERIALS

To ensure safety and food quality, only use microwave-safe materials.

1. Safe Materials:

Heat-resistant glass: e.g., Borosilicate, Pyrex.

Ceramics: Non-lead-glazed ceramicware.

Microwave-safe plastics: Clearly marked as “Microwave Safe”.

Parchment paper, napkins: For quick reheating.

2. Prohibited Materials:

Metals: Spoons, forks, stainless steel, foil (may cause sparks).

Aluminum & copper: Can absorb microwaves and ignite.

Ordinary plastic: May melt or release toxins.

Melamine: Not heat-resistant, prone to warping.

3. Tip to Test Plastic Containers:

Fill the container with water and microwave it for 30 seconds at 700W.

If the container becomes too hot (while the water stays cool), it is not microwave-safe.
